MULTY HOME ANNOUNCES THE DONATION OF OVER 1000 RAINBOW DOORMATS IN APPRECIATION OF HEALTH CARE WORKERS DURING COVID19
VAUGHAN, ONTARIO (May 25, 2020) Multy Home proudly announces a giveaway of one thousand rainbow themed recycled rubber entrance mat doormats to hospital workers in the Greater Toronto Area, in recognition and appreciation of the strength and resilience of health care workers during the battle against COVID19.
In addition to quickly reacting to the COVID-19 crisis to keep employees and their families safe, with work-from-home technology and safe distancing within distribution and manufacturing facilities, Multy Home is proud to announce further measures to contribute to our communities and help the first-responders and health heroes.
“This is about helping where we can, with the resources that we have as a corporate leader in our community”, says company President Derek Erdman. “I have been so impressed with the ingenuity, creativity and caring of our incredible team, to get our COVID-19 protocol in place, and then to immediately think next about how to best serve our community, in this time of crisis.
The hospital staff, health care givers, and first-responders are at the front-lines of this crisis and need whatever support we can provide. “Our Multy Home staff have been inspired by the rainbow message of hope that is spreading across the country. The thought of essential workers crossing the threshold of their doorways seeing this symbol of hope upon returning home each and every day, sparked an idea. Why not print the rainbow on a doormat? As a manufacturer, we can respond quickly to produce doormats with this #brighterdaysahead message and rainbow icon. There was no hesitation!”
